In her inaugural poetry collection, Asta compiles poems she wrote between 2016 to 2022, which chronicles her journey from living in alienation to living in the Alien Nation. She grew up feeling like an alien masquerading as a human. She felt alienated because of her race, sexuality, and mental health. Now, she thinks about being an alien in a nation where aliens are the norm. In Alien Nation, all of her is accepted. It is a place where she has found community, self-confidence, self-acceptance, and dare she say it, even self-love.
