Food, Culture, and Soul: Celebrate at “The Cookout” During SOBEWFF® 2025

This signature happening, taking place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the stunning Eden Roc Miami Beach, promises to deliver a flavorful exploration of African American and Caribbean cuisines, celebrating the rich culinary traditions of the African Diaspora.
Chef JJ Johnson, the mastermind behind FIELDTRIP and known for his innovative approach to global comfort food, describes The Cookout as a gathering that transcends the typical barbecue experience. “This is where the culinary traditions of Black and Caribbean America come to life,” he shares. “You’ll experience the robust rhythms and flavors of South Florida culture.
