The Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) will host its first-ever Music Industry Summit from February 28 to March 1, 2025. The summit will feature the official launch of 370 Music Group, a non-profit, non-exclusive record label and music licensing company. This new initiative supports LACM students and alumni by providing a platform to showcase their work and collaborate with industry professionals.

370 Music Group Launches with Diverse Artist Roster

370 Music Group, a key component of the LACM Foundation, is designed to provide students and alumni with professional development and exposure in the music industry. The label offers an immersive platform for collaboration between emerging artists and industry veterans. Led by the LACM Faculty Advisory Board, the label provides comprehensive support for its roster, which includes both current students and alumni.

The board consists of industry experts such as Erin Workman, Adam LaRue, Jennifer Smith, Karla Ortiz, and Michael Chrysanthou, each bringing years of experience across multiple music business sectors.

Adjenai Worrell, 370 Music Group’s Label Manager, emphasized the importance of fostering talent through mentorship and industry connections. “Our team brings a rich cultural diversity and a broad range of professional experience to the table,” said Adjenai Worrell, 370 Music Group Label Manager. “By combining our strengths, we aim to empower our artists, helping them develop their vision and connect with communities worldwide,” Worrell said.

Music Industry Summit Programming:

The summit will open with a reception on February 28, followed by live performances from LACM artists, including Lendryx, Ivy Sang, and Olivia Rose. On March 1, the summit will offer a series of workshops and panels focusing on various aspects of the music industry, such as songwriting, publishing, publicity, and sync licensing. Industry partners like West Coast Songwriters, Ableton, AiAiAi, and DISCO will lead workshops. Performances by LACM students will frame the day’s events.

Both events are free to the public, with a suggested $25 donation benefiting the LACM Foundation, which offers scholarships and financial assistance to aspiring musicians.
