Peso Pluma: A Global Force in Latin Music

Hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, Peso Pluma has taken the music world by storm. With over 45 million monthly listeners on Spotify, he made history as the first Mexican artist to top Spotify’s Daily Top Artists Mexico chart. His GRAMMY®-winning album GÉNESIS shattered streaming records and marked a pivotal moment in the rise of corridos tumbados and regional Mexican music. In 2024, he continued his dominance with four Latin GRAMMY® nominations, including Record of the Year for his collaboration with Kali Uchis and Best Contemporary Mexican Album for GÉNESIS.

Peso Pluma’s influence extends beyond his music. His collaborations with global superstars such as Karol G, Anitta, and Christian Nodal have further solidified his place as a major force in the industry. In 2022, he launched his own label, Double P Records, in partnership with George Prajin, further demonstrating his commitment to shaping the future of Latin music.

As the 2025 BMI Champion Award recipient, Peso Pluma joins the ranks of previous honorees like SZA, Khalid, Residente, Sebastian Krys, Inflo, Mark Ronson, and Keith Urban, reinforcing his trailblazing status in Latin music history.

Tito Double P: The Future of Música Mexicana

Peso Pluma’s Double P Records has served as a launching pad for the next generation of stars, including Tito Double P, who has been making waves with his signature acelerado bélico sound. A native of Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico, Tito Double P burst onto the scene in 2023 with the viral single “DEMBOW BÉLICO”, setting the stage for a string of hit collaborations, including “Gavilán II,” “La People,” and “La People II” alongside Peso Pluma.
