I Went Viral During Super Bowl Weekend: What I Experienced
Everybody wants to be viral on the internet or have some level of importance. I experienced this for myself during the biggest sports event of the year: Super Bowl Weekend. From February 6th to 9th, 2025, I had the pleasure of heading to New Orleans for the big game weekend for the first time. I covered events with my friends Fago, Founder of the media agency Newssitched Media, and Kris, who reported on new stitched media. We started with the St Jude Charity Event and worked our way around.
I also met a guy named Israel, founder of Opulence Group, which was the trigger pull for this epic night. Larry Morrow/Larry Morrow Hospitality conducted a series of events throughout Super Bowl weekend, with special guests like Wallo and Gillie from Million Dollars Worth Of Game Podcast, Glorilla, Latto, Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Cardi B, and so many more, along with some surprise guests.
Saturday, February 8, is when it all changed. Internet Streaming Sensations Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed, and comedian Druski were all in the building, amongst plenty; Kai and Speed hosted a celebrity flag football game with the NFL that evening. I didn’t get credentialed for that event, so I’d hoped they would show up through the night because I wanted to get content from them before I left. I last captured Kai at Druski’s “Coulda Fest” in Atlanta, GA.
As the night went on, I saw bottle girls on the top floor; I tried to be very observant of what was going on and what shots needed to be taken. I looked up and realized Kai And Speed were up there, and my brain had a different switch on it. More guests such as Desi Banks, MrRuggs, Paul Pierce, Meek Mil, Simba, Kenny Burns, and so many other celebrity faces showed up on these nights, I realized it’s game time and it was a now or never moment.
Kai, Speed, and Travis Were secured for a little while before making it to the stage. Before 1 AM, Club Empire was completely packed. But I didn’t get discouraged, I kept the faith of a good content outcome. But making my way to the stage was my saving grace for air and my saving grace for key shots. I stayed there and pushed toward Travis, Kai, and Speed. In these situations, you must get comfortable being uncomfortable, especially in a big or crowded room. The moment started when I realized Travis was about to head to the front of the stage to perform/host.
He vibed out for a while, and as time went on, he performed Fein, which became viral on the internet. I switched from picture to video because I felt pictures wouldn’t do this justice. So, I turned my camera vertically and just got in the moment. Capturing that and Speed and Kai having a great time, I knew video of these timeless moments could speak louder than pictures. Sometimes, you just know what’s going to hit harder.

Standing next to these people makes you feel some sense of power as a photographer. After so much hard work and you luckily end up in rooms like that, it makes what I do worth it. Anybody can do this if you try. You have to prove yourself to others and take those chances
Israel of Opulence and Larry Morrow very much liked the content and kept inviting me back for all the nights he and Larry had during the time I was there. I developed a relationship with staff and security, making each night easier and more comfortable. We got the announcement Friday night that Travis was coming Saturday night. So, I knew then that my life would do some type of 360, and it did.
I posted that video around 10 AM to noon, not knowing the type of influence it was going to have. It was seen by many blogs worldwide, and my logo was cut in some, which is common for viral videos. I didn’t know what I was hopping into, but now I understand! It’s all over YouTube and TikTok; the weekend alone generated so many views on my page. The moral of the story is to never give up. Never count yourself out. Your moment is well on its way and might come faster than you think. Entertainment is a harsh industry, especially for content creators, but you have to be willing to prove yourself and make those sacrifices. Comedian Desi Banks and I also had a conversation, and I told him I traveled 5 hours for all this, and he replied with, “Oh, that’s not bad; it’s a sacrifice, baby,” and ended it with a hug, which is very true. Being a content creator comes with so much, but it is so rewarding.
Being viral wasn’t on my 2025 playing card, but I’m here now. The world finally sees TGD in ways I never thought. And I hope your brand does the same. Whether you’re a camera person, designer, director, or whatever field, make those sacrifices because it will pay off in the end, and always POST. In timeless moments like that, time is of the essence and is very important while the hype is still fresh.
As I say, Create Like Your Life Depends On It Because It Does. Thank you to Newsstiched Media, Opulence Group, and Larry Morrow for believing in me and my talents and allowing me to capture a weekend that will always be near and dear to me as a creative. Newsstiched Media was the main reason I was in New Orleans in the first place, and it opened up so many more opportunities. Never sleep on yourself, guys. Seize every moment you have and create those relationships.
