Conejo Elementary receives another grant thanks to generous donors!

At Conejo Elementary, pictured alongside 1st grade teacher Frankie Perez is C4CC program donor and community partner, Harvey Prince.  Harvey and his wife Joanie have generously funded several classroom grants.

Mr. Perez will use grant money to purchase educational software that will enrich his students’ language arts and math education in a most engaging way.

Along with Mr. Perez and his students, Cash 4 Conejo Classrooms would like to extend a huge thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Harvey Prince!

Middle Schools receive grants for music, social studies, and math.

At Sequoia Middle School, music teacher Karla Stevenson is pictured with principal Vivian Vina and Bonnie adamick, showing off 2 of the several beautiful new guitars that were recently donated to the school.

Ms. Stevenson will use her grant money to purchase music books and supplies needed to make full use of the new guitars.


Also at Sequoia, 6th grade teacher Elissa Ahankoob received a grant for her creative “mini society.”

Students will participate in business ventures while learning about the American economy.


Los Cerritos Middle School principal Jason Brannam alongside math teacher Debbie Boden, winning a grant for her 7th and 8th grade classes.

Ms. Boden and her students will use a flip camera to make homework videos and instructional lecture videos.

Westlake Elementary School receives 2 grants!

 Westlake Elementary School principal Jeff Rickert congratulated 4th grade teacher Tasha Spangler on her grant award.

Ms. Spangler will use grant money to purchase hands-on math materials.


Wendy Ridenour, 3rd grade teacher at Westlake elementary, received a grant to purchase Judy teaching clocks.

Ms. Ridenour’s students look pretty happy about it!

Cypress and Maple teachers win grants for reading and math.

Cypress Elementary School 4th grade teacher Susan Rogers received a grant to purhcase EveryDay Math books.


At Maple Elementary School, teacher Tammy Edwards will use grant money to buy a class set of durable teaching clocks.


Also at Maple, 2nd grade teacher Anne-Marie Cavanah will use her grant money to build a listening library of reading comprehension books.

Ms. Cavanah explains that listening to books aloud is essential to emerging readers, especially English language learners.
