This comprehensive series, airing Mondays and Fridays from 8 – 10 pm ET, explores pivotal moments and figures from ancient times to the present day. Delve into episodes such as “Gift of the Nile”, “Resistance and Liberation”, and more as Zeinab Badawi sets the record straight on Africa’s rich heritage.

Modern Black Legends

Discover the stories behind influential Black trendsetters who have left an indelible mark on music, film, sports, politics, and beyond. Tune in to documentaries featuring icons such as Beyoncé, Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, Kobe Bryant, Michelle Obama, Tyler Perry, and more, airing Wednesdays and Sundays from 8-10 pm ET, and Saturdays from 9 am-12 Noon ET. Experience the powerful family film “Before the Border”, inspired by historical events and following a determined law student as she retraces the path of the underground railroad.
