Mogul Marsha Telfer Expands Menu at Dallas Hotspot ‘Reggae Jerk Hut’

Reggae Jerk Hut, North Texas’s first Jamaican and Haitian fusion restaurant, continues to make waves in the culinary scene with the launch of its new daily breakfast menu. Opening at 7:30 a.m., the restaurant introduces bold Caribbean flavors to the morning dining experience, a testament to its growing popularity and commitment to innovation.

Helmed by co-founder Marsha Telfer, a Real Estate Investor and Legal Professional, alongside her Jamaican husband and Army veteran, Adrian Telfer, the restaurant has become a community staple. Since its inception, Reggae Jerk Hut has celebrated cultural pride and authentic flavors, earning accolades as a Top 10 Black-owned restaurant in the region.

The new breakfast menu builds on the overwhelming success of their weekend brunch. It offers signature dishes like Oxtail and Grits, a savory Caribbean twist on a Southern classic, and Jerk Chicken and Waffles, which blend island spice with comforting familiarity.

“This expansion is a reflection of the love and support we’ve received from our community,” said Marsha Telfer. “We’re thrilled to bring the vibrant tastes of Jamaica and Haiti to breakfast, sharing a bit of home with our customers every morning.”

Under Telfer’s leadership, Reggae Jerk Hut continues to grow as both a business and a cultural hub. While supporting Adrian’s culinary vision, Marsha has also expanded her entrepreneurial footprint, further solidifying her reputation as a dynamic businesswoman in North Dallas.

Reggae Jerk Hut’s North Dallas/McKinney location invites guests to experience its new breakfast offerings, which combine bold flavors with a deep sense of community and tradition.
