Tyler Perry is set to release his latest film, “Divorce In The Black,” featuring an impressive cast including Meagan Good, Cory Hardrict, Richard Lawson, and Debbie Morgan. The highly anticipated film will premiere on Amazon Prime’s streaming service on July 11, 2024.

The trailer for “Divorce In The Black” debuted this Thursday during the American Black Film Festival held on Miami Beach, capturing the attention of audiences and critics alike.

The film centers around Ava, portrayed by Meagan Good, a banking professional who is devastated when her husband Dallas, played by Cory Hardrict, abruptly abandons their marriage. Determined to fight for their relationship, Ava’s journey takes an unexpected turn as she discovers the true nature of Dallas, revealing his deeply flawed and wicked character.

As part of the promotional tour, Meagan Good and Cory Hardrict made their first stop in Miami, FL, engaging in an intimate Q&A session moderated by Latasha Gillespie. During the discussion, both actors shared personal connections to the theme of divorce and expressed what being part of this film means to them.

“I play the character of Ava, and it’s fascinating.
